StackTAG

The StackTAG system helps people using permanent stack-monitoring platforms identify their survey and inspection history.

Baseline survey

For a new platform, the baseline survey should be completed after installation and before use. Existing platforms should be surveyed at the earliest practical opportunity by a suitably competent person. The survey should document the platform condition and the acceptance criteria for future inspections.

Periodic surveys

Periodic surveys should be carried out at intervals determined by risk, taking account of platform condition, deterioration and other relevant factors.

Prior-to-use inspections

Platforms should receive an appropriate prior-to-use inspection. A suitably trained site employee may be able to carry out these inspections where the scope and training have been formally documented.
